WHO WE ARE

A university model, without the tuition bill.

United Federal Grants Clearinghouse (UFGC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on one conviction: the organizations doing the most important work in this country should never have to pay to learn how federal funding works.

We are not a grant writer, a consultant, or a paid accelerator in disguise. We are an institute. Where a university charges tuition to teach strategy, UFGC teaches the federal funding landscape in full, for as long as an organization needs it, at no cost.

Our role is to organize what is usually scattered and confusing — free federal resources, small-business development programs, and funding education — into one place ny organization can use without cost or obligation. Every pointer we give leads directly to the official source. We never sit between an organization and its funding.

THE UFGC PLEDGE

  • No enrollment fees, application fees, or hidden tiers — none, ever.

  • Zero percentage taken from any grant an organization is awarded.

  • Every resource links to an official .gov source or Google directly — never a paid intermediary.

  • No account, subscription, or personal data required to read our guides.

  • Open enrollment, permanently — there is no term, semester, or expiration.

THE INSTITUTE MODEL

Three colleges. One core curriculum.

Just as a university organizes knowledge into colleges and a shared curriculum, UFGC organizes the federal funding landscape into a clear course of study. Enrollment in every college is free and open — there is no waitlist for the truth about how federal funding works.

College I

College of Federal Readiness

The prerequisite coursework before any organization applies for anything. We teach the eligibility fundamentals and the registration steps federal systems require — so nothing is left half-finished when an opportunity opens.

  • SAM.gov registration, — start to finish

  • Unique Entity ID (UEI) fundamentals

  • Eligibility self-assessment basics

  • Common registration mistakes to avoid

College II

College of Grant Literacy

Plain-language instruction on how to read, evaluate, and pursue active federal grant listings and small-business development programs — sourced only from official government sites, never a paid aggregator.

  • Navigating Grants.gov search and filters

  • Reading a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)

  • Matching mission to eligible funding categories

  • Spotting look-alike, for-profit "grant" sites

College III

College of Funding Strategy

Workshops and written coursework on how the federal grants process actually works — so an organization can apply directly and confidently on its own, for the rest of its life, with no ongoing dependency required.

  • Building a 12-month funding calendar

  • SBA counseling and readiness programs

  • Google Ad Grants eligibility and setup

  • Sustaining momentum after the first award

D.O.L.L.A.2R

Our proprietary D.O.L.L.A.²R Framework is the institute's core curriculum the method we use to understand an organization's mission, match it to legitimate opportunities, and lay out next steps in plain language. It is taught in every college above, not sold as a separate product or tier.

REQUIRED READING

The four sources we point every organization to — directly.rants.gov

UFGC never requires an account, a fee, or a subscription to access these. Every resource below is official and publicly available, maintained by the U.S. government or by Google. We do not gatekeep information that is already free; we simply make it easier to find.

FEDERAL GRANTS PORTAL

Grants.gov

The official U.S. government portal for finding and applying to federal grant opportunities across every agency, in one

searchable database.

FEDERAL REGISTRATION

SAM.gov

The federal System for Award Management. Free registration here is required before any organization can legally receive federal funding of any kind.

SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

SBA.gov

The U.S. Small Business Administration offers free counseling, training, and funding-readiness programs to eligible organizations nationwide.

DIGITAL GROWTH

Google Ad Grants

A Google program providing eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits with in-kind advertising to support their mission online, at no cost.

A note on imitators: sites with names resembling "USGrants" are privately owned, for-profit businesses with no affiliation to the federal government. UFGC links only to official .gov sources and to Google directly. If a site asks for payment to "unlock" a federal grant listing, it is not the federal government — and it is not us.
